Chemical and Mechanical Excellence
Chemical Composition: The weld metal of 316LT1-1 contains approximately 0.03% Carbon, 1.8% Manganese, 0.5% Silicon, 18.5% Chromium, 12% Nickel, and 2.5% Molybdenum, offering superior corrosion resistance, pitting resistance, and high-temperature stability.
Mechanical Performance: In the as-welded condition, this wire delivers an ultimate tensile strength of 560 MPa and yield strength of 400 MPa at 0.2% offset, with elongation around 30% and impact toughness suitable for 20°C service conditions. This combination ensures durable, reliable, and ductile welds under demanding operational conditions.

Mechanical Properties of 309LT1-1 Flux Cored Welding Wire
The weld metal produced by 309LT1-1 welding wire exhibits outstanding mechanical performance in the as-welded condition. Typical ultimate tensile strength is around 580 MPa, with yield strength at 0.2% offset approximately 430 MPa. The weld metal demonstrates good elongation of 26% and impact toughness around 52 Joules, ensuring resistance to cracking and reliable structural integrity.
These properties make the wire ideal for heat exchangers, furnace parts, and dissimilar metal welds requiring both strength and ductility
Applications of 316LT1-1 FCAW Wire
The 316LT1-1 welding wire is widely used in industries requiring hygienic, chemical, and marine-grade performance:
Pharmaceutical and food processing equipment fabrication

Chemical storage and processing tanks
Pulp and paper industry machinery
Marine and offshore structural components

Heat exchangers and boiler systems
Cryogenic storage and piping applications
Its corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and low-temperature performance make it ideal for both offshore and industrial process environments.
